Cape Hatteras Light is a lighthouse located on Hatteras Island in the Outer Banks of North Carolina near the community of Buxton, and is part of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. It is the world's tallest brick lighthouse. In 1999 it was moved inland away from the coast because of erosion.
The ORIGINAL pastel painting is available for $685.00. The painting size is 19.5 X 23.5. The painting is mounted on acid free FCB and double matted (colonial green, top mat and licorice, 1/4 under mat) and will be shipped with another peice of FCB to prevent damage during shipping. I bought a camera in 2011 to capture images to paint from and fell in love with photography. Taking photos has become a passion on its own.
